giveaway day :: charming mr. fox

meet mr. fox. he is pretty sweet little fellow, yes? he has been hanging out with my in the studio for a few days. he is great company, i mean really, who could be grumpy in the presence of such a cheerful face?

i sewed him using this pattern. i am making christmas foxes for my little ones too. one for esmé, one for harper, and one for luca. they are all cut out and being worked on a bit each night after the kids are tucked into bed.

now onto the giveaway - i would like to offer this charming mr. fox to one of you! he is approximately 19 inches tall, firmly stuffed so he can be hugged and played with for years to come and is lovingly stitched out of woven cotton, soft cotton flannel and wool felt.

and just look at his darling fluffy tail!

if you would like to give mr. fox a home please leave me a comment telling me so. i would love to hear all about who would be caring for him.

anyone is welcome to enter, i am happy to ship internationally.

if you feel inclined to follow my little blog and come back again for another visit i would be thrilled, though it is not required to enter this giveaway.

Oh wow, he is beautiful. He would be adored by my four year old daughter. Earlier today I watched as she lined up her dolls and teddies across her pillows to read them a story, and one of them always gets taken to bed with her at night. She chooses a different one each night so your lovely Mr Fox would sometimes get sleepy cuddles but when he didn't he would have several stuffed friends for company instead.

Mr. Fox is adorable.

A rambunctious toddler would be the happy care taker of Mr. Fox at our house. He may take a beating, or spend some time jammed under the couch. But that doesn't mean that we love him any less. Upon discovering the hidden whereabouts of Mr. Fox - mommy would promptly give him a bath and tuck him in with toddler for the night. ;)

Marilize said...

Well hello there Mr Fox. You are such a gentlemen I did not even see you come in. Please sit. Tea? Two sugars and cream I presume? Here you go.

I hear that you are looking for a new home? Well, I would highly recommend my own. It is quiet and peaceful and all the toys in here are named, loved and without batteries. Most are soft and cuddly, but there is also a variety of wooden and page-filled ones.

Your main caretaker would be me - I'll admit that freely. Grand plans are made with each new adopted friend, but Mommy is the one that makes sure there are regular baths and equal playtime.

Is this a proposition you are interested in? You will not regret it I can assure you :)

My sweet, sweet, sweet (but wacky) little angel fell down and knocked her two front teeth out of place this morning. She's spent the entire day running from doctor to dentist to dentist, before finally having her two little teeth manually put back in place. She's only two, but has been such a trooper and even gave the dentist a high-five after he pushed those little chompers back in place. I know she'd love to have a new snuggly friend to cuddle with after her ordeal...I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her! Thanks so much for the chance...Mr Fox is Fantastic!
