so, i have blogged about the super rad new yarn subscriptions in the inspired mama MAKES! shop in recent weeks. have you checked them out yet? if not go take a quick peek.first it was the inspired wooly yarn subscription with brand new colorways every month all on wool bases suitable for cloth diaper covers - these yarns are also fabulous for hats, mittens, scarves and other cold weather knits.
then, just last week, the inspired luxe yarn subscription made it's debut. with this club you can expect luxury fibers including merino, cashmere blends, silk and the like. this subscription was created with self indulgence in mind - go ahead, knit something and then KEEP IT FOR YOURSELF!for this giveaway i am offering one lucky person a sample month from one of these wonderful yarn subscriptions - either 4 ounces of variegated wool and 2 ounces of a coordinating solid from the inspired wooly club or one luxury skein from the inspired luxe club.
to enter simply leave me a comment letting me know which subscription you would like to sample. and if you feel inclined i would love to hear what features you love or would love to see in a yarn subscription.

I would love wool from the wooly club! what I would like to see in a yarn subscription (I've never had one) is to be able to pick a colorway, like "earthy" or "bright" or "flowers" so I could kind of know what I'm getting a bit, while still being surprised. I would also like to be able to pick the amount of yarn to get, like a sweater's worth, ect. from month to month.

Both clubs look great, and I really like that you can choose the colorway to prefer. That's what keeps me from joining most yarn clubs - that I just might end up with a bunch of gorgeous skeins that I can't use to knit anything for myself because the colors are so wrong for me.

Holy moly! I would love the try the luxe yarn. I am always looking for wonderful semi-solid or overdyed yarns to use for gifts for my friends, and while I will knit with acrylic (see my own giveaway) I prefer to knit with the good stuff. It just feels better in the hands!

Wow! What beautiful yarn you have and I didn't know about your yarn subscription on Etsy. I think it's interesting you ask what people look for in yarn subscription - I think that I would look for yarn that is part of a larger collection so I could combine the various months into one project that would be guaranteed to go together.
I'm also impressed by the colors in your picture - I usually go for jewel tones, but if I won, the earth tones are BEAUTIFUL. I think I'd go with them!
